[Hong Kong] CAPITAL CAFE : A Simple Breakfast

I walked past this cafe a few times when walking from Causeway Bay to my flat at Wan Chai but walked in for the first time when i was looking to have an early breakfast on my last day in Hong Kong. It was a rainy morning and perhaps that was the reason why this place was not as crowded as i expected it to be. The options were pretty limited as well so i went with Scrambled Egg on Toast, Fried Egg, Pork Chop Buns and Chilled Milk Tea.

I enjoyed the Fried Egg, though it might be easy to prepare but it does require a bit of skills to do it well.

Their Scrambled Egg on Toast was real good, almost as good as the one by Australian Diary. The texture of scrambled was slightly runny and rather soft, it served on a piece of lightly toasted bread. Though simple but a perfect choice for breakfast.

The Pork Chop Bun though nicely presented but it did not taste as good as its look. The texture of the pork chop was a bit too tough to my liking and buns were slightly hard. This was not amongst the best Pork Chop Buns that i have often in Hong Kong.

Their chilled milk tea was quite good, thick, fragrant and smooth.
