Ang Mo Kio 107 Fried Carrot Cake

This carrot cake stall has been the most talked about hawker centre on the net quite recently. I tasted it once. Their black version of fried carrot cake is probably one of the better around. The elderly uncle used to make his own carrot cake but have since outsourced it as age is catching up with him. This stall only operated in the evening from 6 pm to about 11.30 pm. My last visit was quite a long while back though and i have almost forgotten the existence of this stall.

The stall resurfaced again when blogger Roy Ngerng is being sued due to a published blog post regarding Central Provident Fund (CPF). What i did not expect is the elderly uncle of this famous fried carrot cake is actually his father. I was there at about 9 pm and did not quite expect a crowd at that time but the waiting time was a short one. The black carrot cake is a must order though the white one is not too bad as well. We decided to order the $3 portion for both.

Roy was there helping his dad and auntie. He delivered both plates of carrot cake and we chatted a little.
